On Oct 29 & 30th, Jerry Wright fished the 2011 VA TBF Fall Classic on Lake Gaston. On Saturday morning, the tournament blasted off with heavy rain and winds with weather clearing for the afternoon. At the end of day one, Jerry came to the scales with a 4 fish limit that weighed in at just over 8 lbs. With below freezing temps on Sunday morning, Jerry found himself sitting in 7th place at the start of day two. At the 2:15 weighin at Mourning Star Marina, Jerry brought another limit of bass to the scales that weighed in just over 11 lbs. The 2 day total weight of 8 bass weighed in just over 19 lbs which gave him 2nd Place in the tournament. As a result of his finish, Jerry is now a member of the 2012 VA TBF State Team and will reperesent VA in the Mid Atlantic Divisonals on the Potomac River in Sept 2012. Jerry caught his fish on Saturday on a Stanley 5/16 Black and Blue Jig and on Sunday, a KVD Crankbait.
